| Fit and active - At any age |
 |
The natural human aging process entails
a creeping decline in physical and mental fitness. The pumping force of
the heart and the capacity of the lungs diminish, digestion slows down,
the liver and kidneys function less adequately, joints and vertebrae wear
down, circulation, skin elasticity, sight, and hearing deteriorate.
However, fitness and activity level are not only a matter of age. You are
only as old as you feel, or - in other words - your relative age depends
upon the degree of vitality and well-being you possess. |
