How would you characterize your general well-being?
- Do you sometimes lack the necessary power to make decisions?
- Can you sometimesnot sleep well?
- Does bad weather dampen your mood?
The answers to these questions give indications about your personal quality
of life. Various factors can influence it, among them stress, hectic scrambling,
increasing demands of everyday life, improper diet. Today people face more
and more challenges and pressure - as a consequence the body's natural reserves
diminish and your quality of life suffers. |
 |
| The study set-up |
 |
| A double-blind study - meaning that neither the
treating physician nor the patients knew exactly which medication had been
administered - conducted at the University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1996 tested
quality of life over a three-month period. 625 subjects suffering from conditions
of exhaustion were examined concerning their health condition. They were
randomly divided into two groups: group A daily received a multivitamin
product containing 20 vitamins, group B a special combination of vitamins,
minerals, trace elements and the standardized G115® ginseng extract. |
 |
| The scientific proof |
 |
| Under scientific supervision the subjects had
to answer detailed questionnaires that recorded their quality of life (QoL).
The statements on the answer sheet clearly illustrated the quality of life
of the individual subjects. The vitality in group a receiving the multivitamin
supplement had hardly changed, in group B, on the other hand, an appreciable
improvement was measured. |
 |
| Life with zest |
 |
This study clearly demonstrates that the pure
multivitamin product supplies the body with nutrients, but does not increase
vitality. On the other hand, a combination of vitamins, minerals, trace
elements combined with the standardised G115® ginseng extract improves
quality of life. All the nutrients given to the subjects in group B are
present in the nutritional formula of Pharmaton®.
